The coronet of hope sparkled for a rainbow of people when the Amethyst Women’s Project presented a holiday party at KeySpan Park.
The home of the Brooklyn Cyclones, 1904 Surf Avenue, provided an oceanic backdrop for the annual Yuletide festivities, which drew dozens of area families in need to the program of cheer and goodwill.
A visit with Santa, who distributed a bounty of gifts to children, completed the revel.
A non-profit, community-based organization, Amethyst assists women and children affected by the disease of addiction, and who are at high risk of exposure to HIV infection or victims of domestic violence.
