A Post story Saturday misidentified the Queens woman whose birth certificate was stolen and used in wedding scams. She is Rosa Vargas. Her mother was born in Puerto Rico, not in Venezuela, as claimed on one phony marriage application. The story said family members recommended she delay her own marriage in 2004 to clear up the ID theft. They actually recommended she get a license in another jurisdiction, which she did, so she could get married in Queens.
