A Department of Correction captain was attacked by an inmate on Rikers Island Thanksgiving Day, sources told The Post.

The incident was captured on surveillance video, and occurred at 2 p.m. at the Otis Bantum Correctional Center, the city Department of Correction confirmed Saturday.

The 43 seconds of footage shows the captain walking among a group of inmates when he is assaulted by one, and then another, for no apparent reason.

The jail captain was treated for minor injuries.
