A city Department of Correction investigator was charged Wednesday with downloading child porn.

Fernando Clarke, 61, was busted by the US Department of Homeland Security at his Long Island home, said Eastern District federal prosecutor Allen Bode.

Clarke claimed he needed to “immerse himself to learn about the aberrant behavior,” court rec­ords said.
