Was it really worth it?

A Stapleton man was busted for using a stolen credit card to buy a hot dog at a department-store cafeteria.

Ruben Swen, 20, was working as a busboy at the Panera in the Staten Island Mall in New Springville at 6:15 p.m. on Sept. 26 when he swiped a pocketbook left behind by a customer, sources said.

The next day, he allegedly visited the Target store in Tottenville, where he used a credit card from the purse to pay $1.63 for a hot dog, sources said.

Investigators tracked the purchase and used video from the Target to identify Swen, sources said. Cops caught up with him Monday.
