Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito backed a city program last year that provided $32.5 million in city funds so a charter school in her East Harlem district could build a new home.

But the speaker on Thursday refused to say whether she would fight Mayor de Blasio’s plan to scrap the $210 million charter-school facility program that benefited her own Dream Charter school.

“We’ll have hearings and debate it,” she said.

Dream Charter won’t be affected by the mayor’s proposal.

But other charters schools will be left in the cold if the cut goes through.
