City Councilman Charles Barron’s son was arrested on marijuana charges and other misdemeanors after being pulled over in his car in Brooklyn, The Post has learned.

Cops had stopped Jawanza Barron, 30, at Albany Avenue near Avenue I in Flatlands for a broken taillight when they discovered he was driving with a suspended license, ­police sources said.

The suspect, who was also wanted on an outstanding warrant from 2010 for allegedly drinking liquor on the street, was searched, sources said.

Two small bags of marijuana were found in his car and he was arrested.

Jawanza Barron and his father, a Brooklyn Democrat, did not return phone calls ­requesting comment.
