The Center for Constitutional Rights is getting money from the city — to sue the city.

City Councilman Ydanis Rodriguez (D-Manhattan) announced Monday that he’s donating the $30,000 he won in a settlement with the city to the civil-liberties group, which filed the federal class-action suit to overhaul the NYPD’s stop-and-frisk policies.

Rodriguez settled after suing the NYPD for false arrest, malicious prosecution and excessive force during the Occupy Wall Street demonstrations in 2011.

A Law Department spokesman said the settlement was “in the best interest of the city.”
