City Councilman Mark Treyger wants job-hungry city kids to move from public schools to the public sector.

Treyger (D-Brooklyn), the Education Committee chairman, will introduce separate bills Wednesday that would improve access to civil-service gigs for thousands of graduating seniors across the city.

Treyger’s dual bills would require the Department of Citywide Administrative Services to advertise jobs directly to recent grads and potentially scrap exam fees for first-time test-takers.

“We need to make sure students have a full grasp of careers that are out there and within their reach,” he said.
