A Brooklyn lawmaker said Thursday she’s tested positive for coronavirus, making her the second member of the City Council to confirm coming down with the illness.

Councilwoman Inez Barron (D-Brooklyn) notified the Council on Thursday that she tested positive for dreaded COVID-19, officials said.

She and her staff had already self-isolated and shut down her district office after her husband, Brooklyn Assemblyman Charles Barron, tested positive for coronavirus last week.

Bronx Councilman Ritchie Torres announced Tuesday that he had come down with coronavirus as well.

“I join each and every one of my colleagues in praying for the speedy recovery of our friend and colleague Inez and her husband, Charles,” said Council Speaker Corey Johnson.

“Inez has served the people of Brooklyn with distinction for years, and I am certain she cannot wait to get back to work on behalf of her constituents.”

The council’s City Hall and 250 Broadway offices have been closed since Monday.
