A man and a woman are facing charges in a Staten Island pit bull attack that left three people, including a toddler, suffering from bite wounds, cops said Wednesday.
Shontay Holland, 29, and Rodney Jones, 48, were taken into custody immediately after the New Brighton mauling, in which eight to 10 dogs escaped through a home’s window at 1 p.m. Monday, police said.
They were both charged with reckless endangerment, aggravated cruelty to animals and endangering the welfare of a child, cops said.

The dogs attacked several people in the street after escaping through the window, police said.
A 2-year-old girl suffered wounds to her body and a 13-year-old boy and 19-year-old woman were bitten on their legs, cops said. They were all taken to Richmond University Medical Center and remained in stable condition, cops said.
