They stayed together ‘til death did them part.

An upstate couple married for 70 years died within hours of each other.

According to their shared obituary, Joan Sell Chapple died at age 87 on Feb. 17 and her husband, Warren Chapple, passed the next day at age 92.

The couple, who celebrated their milestone anniversary in November, lived in West Sand Lake, near Troy, for the past 34 years.

They are survived by two sons, three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Their joint funeral was Saturday.

Their love –and death — story is receiving national attention.

“What great love they must have shared,” wrote one mourner on an online remembrance page.

“The true power of love,” wrote another.
