A couple walking on the sidewalk in Midtown Tuesday morning was hit by bricks that fell from scaffolding, officials said.
At about 9:10 a.m., two bricks fell from the 18th floor of 42 West 39th St. and onto a sidewalk shed — then bounced onto a 43-year-old man and a 51-year-old woman strolling past, according to the FDNY and Department of Building.
The man was taken to Bellevue Hospital, and the woman was taken to New York University Hospital, both with minor injuries to their legs, cops said.
A nearby car was also damaged.
