A Queens nursing home director has been charged with falsifying medical records in order to hide the disappearance of a 74-year-old man with dementia, Attorney General Eric Schneiderman announced yesterday.
Juliet Clifford, a nursing director at Waldo MacLean Episcopal Nursing Home in Far Rockaway, removed notes from resident Alan Frazer’s records May 27 to make it look as if he had left a day earlier against medical advice, Schneiderman said. Frazer was eventually reported missing May 30 and has not yet been found.
