Looks like this coyote takes after the Road Runner more than his own furry kind.

A coyote prowling through Manhattan’s trendy Chelsea neighborhood managed to evade police and animal officials who cornered the animal at West 24th Street and 12th Avenue early this morning at around 3:30 a.m., reports WPIX.com.

The coyote escaped and has not been spotted since.

Just last month, students and residents reported sightings of at least two coyotes on Columbia University’s campus.
