Brooklyn’s problem-plagued McCarren Park pool closed yesterday after a customer’s bout with diarrhea.

Parks workers planned to disinfect the pool by raising its chlorine levels for 24 hours, said department spokesman Phil Abramson.

Lifeguards evacuated the pool after the problem was spotted at 1:30 p.m., Abramson said.

The pool is to be reopened this afternoon.
