A Queens driver flew off the handle when he got hit with a ticket — smacking a traffic cop and stealing his summons machine during a broad-daylight clash this week, cops said.
The 56-year-old uniformed NYPD traffic enforcement agent was working on 63rd Drive near Queens Boulevard around 4:20 p.m. Wednesday when Mark Garrido, 29, confronted him for ticketing his white SUV, authorities said.
Garrido argued with the agent before hitting his hand and snatching his summons machine in a fit of rage, cops said.

The agent did not report any injuries, police said.
Garrido, who lives about four miles from the scene in Ozone Park, was busted late Friday morning, authorities said.
