A credit-card-machine company is clogging up Manhattan Civil Court with so many cases that they represent 20 percent of all its filings — and require two special judges just to handle the volume.

In response, state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman is suing the company, alleging fraud among other things.

“Northern Leasing ensnares individuals, many of whom are small, unsophisticated business owners, in void, invalid and never-ending equipment finance lease agreements,” the suit says.

Northern Leasing — which rents credit-card terminals to merchants — has “sapped the time and resources” of the court system, a judge noted.

The court — which handles disputes under $25,000 — had 22,827 filings in 2016. Of those, 4,650, or 20 percent, were brought by Northern Leasing.

Northern Leasing lawyer Arnold Bressler denied allegations of fraud.
