A woman walking down a Bronx street was chased and groped by a stranger, according to police.

The 40-year-old victim was strolling on the sidewalk around East 180th Street and Valentin Avenue in Fordham Heights about 4:20 p.m. Aug. 27 when the suspect approached her from behind, cops said.

Police released surveillance footage showing the man jogging to catch up to the victim –– who was a few steps ahead of him –– and then lunging his body over her backside and fondling her.

The suspect fled toward East 180th Street.
