A crook used a sledgehammer to shatter the front door of a Brooklyn jewelry store before pilfering $200,000 in jewelry from the shop, authorities said. 

The smash-and-grab happened around 3:45 a.m. Aug. 17 at Glitz Jewelers on Seventh Avenue near Carroll Street in Park Slope, cops said. 

The store was closed when the robber snatched assorted jewelry worth $200,000 in total, authorities said. 

Police early Wednesday had no specific details on the items taken. 

Authorities released a photo Tuesday night of the suspect, shown wearing a camouflage jacket with the hood pulled up and a surgical mask.
