Bronx residents initially crammed together as they waited in line for the coveted COVID-19 shot at Opening Day of the vaccination mega-site at Yankee Stadium Friday.
Dozens of locals at one point stood body-to-body — rather than the recommended social distance of 6 feet — in the rain outside of the Bronx Bombers inoculation hub.
Members of the New York National Guard eventually went around to those too close together, telling them to keep a safe distance in order to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
