A Connecticut bride appears to have been cleared in the disappearance and suspected murder of her groom aboard a cruise ship in 2005, said a lawyer for the missing Greenwich man’s family.

“The documents and information [in Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines’ probe] appears to exonerate Jennifer Hagel and Lloyd Botha, the casino manager linked to Jennifer on the fateful evening of George Smith’s disappearance, from any wrongdoing,” the lawyer, Michael Jones, told The Post.

Meanwhile, there have been “new developments in the case” that are being handled by the FBI, Jones said. The lawyer declined to say what they were.
