CUNY ousts Dem cronies
Two politically connected Democrats are being booted by the City University’s Medgar Evers College.
Roger Green, a former state assemblyman, and John Flateau, a top aide to state Senate Democratic leader John Sampson, were not reappointed for the next school year, sources said.
Green served 25 years in Albany before resigning after pleading guilty to a misdemeanor for billing the state for false travel expenses.
Flateau, who was a top aide to former Mayor David Dinkins, had been criticized for double-dipping — earning a hefty Albany salary while also collecting a paycheck from Evers.
