Outdoor stadiums, offices and casinos across the state can increase their capacity starting next month, Gov. Andrew Cuomo announced Monday.

With New York’s latest seven-day positive test average hitting 2.1 percent — its lowest rate since Nov. 8 — “the arrows are all pointing in the right direction,” Cuomo said.

“We’re going to continue to increase the reopening,” the governor said during a press conference in Syracuse. “This has been conducted on the facts since we began.”

Starting May 15, the occupancy at offices can increase from 50 to 75 percent and casinos from 25 to 50 percent, Cuomo said.

On May 19, outdoor stadiums can increase their capacity from 20 to 33 percent.

Gyms also can boost their capacity from 33 to 50 percent beginning May 15 — although only outside of New York City, Cuomo said.

It wasn’t immediately clear why the harsher restriction wasn’t lifted on the Big Apple, too, since its latest positive test rate was 2.2 percent.

“We just have to keep the arrows pointed in the right direction and that is a function of what we do,” said Cuomo.
