Gov. Cuomo and Mayor de Blasio top the list of politicians set to speak about Martin Luther King’s legacy Monday at a Manhattan event honoring the slain civil-rights leader’s memory.
They’re scheduled to be joined by Sen. Kirsten Gillibrand, state Attorney General Eric Schneiderman and City Council Speaker Melissa Mark-Viverito at the National Action Network’s annual King Day Public Policy Forum.
Before that, de Blasio and his wife, Chirlane McCray, will attend a King event at the Brooklyn Academy of Music.
Public schools and virtually all government buildings will be closed for the day. Courts will remain open for arraignments.
Alternate-side parking is suspended and subways will run on a regular schedule, while buses will operate on a reduced weekday timetable.
