Don’t worry, New York, Gov. Andrew Cuomo is on top of the subway crisis.

The gov put on his work boots Wednesday and hunkered down over a mess of rotting power wires at the Columbus Circle station to demonstrate how faulty wiring is causing delays.

“One circuit goes out, the light goes to red, the trains stop, the engineer is called, you have to troubleshoot the entire system to get to that one circuit,” said Cuomo.

There are millions of old wires in the archaic system, the governor said, and they’ve helped cause some 32,000 annual delays.

The New York State Public Service Commission has ordered Con Edison to immediately take steps to install new conductors, meters and other equipment within the year.

The power system rebuild will cost “tens of millions of dollars,” all of which will be on Con Ed’s dime, said Cuomo.
