Gov. Cuomo’s legal department is prodding state agencies about Attorney General Eric Schneiderman by sending them a five-page survey that asks about the performance of the AG’s Office.
The 40-question survey includes queries about possible “challenges” the agencies may have had with Schneiderman office and what changes they would recommend.
The governor’s legal counsel, Alphonso David, said the goal was to “improve the efficiency of cases, not a report card on the AG’s Office.”
“It’s fairly innocuous,” David said. “It’s about case management.”
