The bus stops here.
Gov. Cuomo suspended the operating licenses of eight bus companies yesterday in the wake of a rash of deadly crashes.
The companies weren’t involved in the wrecks, but had failed three or more inspections over the past six months, he said.
“We have the best record of any bus company on Long Island,” fumed Perry Stuart, the owner of one of the suspended companies, Long Island Limousine Service.
The other shuttered operators are Best Trails and Travel; Party Ride; A&W Tours; Touch of Class & Coach; Silver Star Limo; Zoladz Limousine Service and Big Apple Bus Charter.
