Now, he’s showing off his true colors. 

The pampered, wannabe-rapper son of pop legend Cyndi Lauper flaunted a $10,000 Louis Vuitton jacket in Manhattan court Friday, as he got a slap on the wrist for a weapons bust. 

Declyn “Dex” Lauper flashed the designer label of his baby blue “Embroidered Faces Varsity Jacket ” to The Post and boasted that it cost “10 Gs” as he passed through metal detectors at Manhattan Supreme Court.

The iced-out nepobaby, 29, whose career boasts four songs on Soundcloud,  wore the trendy, Italian-made luxury garment  as he copped to charges of criminal possession of a weapon in the second degree. 

He received one year of interim probation for the bust, which came when cops found the gun on him after his pal was shot in the leg in Upper Manhattan on Feb. 7, 2024.

He had been facing up to seven years in prison if convicted on the firearms charge.

Lauper, whose highly edited music includes a song dubbed “Stay Dangerous,” flashed a thumbs up while donning  the pricey “premium leather”-and-wool jacket after taking the plea deal at his court appearance.

It’s not clear if he actually paid $10,000 for the outerwear — which is a collaboration between the fashion firm and Japanese artist Yayoi Kusama — as it can easily be found online, new, for $6,800. 

As part of the plea deal, Lauper will have to receive substance abuse treatment and remain arrest free for one year.

If he completes the program with no problems, he would then be allowed to plea to the lesser charge of criminal possession of a firearm and receive a three-year conditional discharge, according to the terms accepted by Judge Sara Litman.

The resolution comes more than two years after cops caught the pop scion with a loaded Glock .47 caliber handgun on 112th Street in Harlem, near where his 24-year-old pal had just been shot in the leg by a group of five gunmen, prosecutors have said.

Lauper — who denied that the gun was his — infamously tried wooing cops by name dropping his legendary pop-star mom after he was placed into custody.

“I grew up, my mom is Cyndi Lauper, Girls Just Want to Have Fun,” Lauper allegedly told a detective at the time, while also pleading for them to call his mom and life coach.

It was Lauper’s second conviction in Manhattan — coming after he took another plea to avoid jail time for stealing a Mercedes outside another rapper’s memorial in 2022.

Lauper’s attorney, Joe Tacopina, called the deal a “great resolution” for Lauper who is eager to put the case behind him and focus on his music future.

“He’s a great creative mind and has got a lot of things to do,” the high-profiled attorney said after the hearing. “This hanging over his head was a hindrance to that.”
