A Long Island pediatrician made secret video recordings of female patients as young as 11 after asking them to disrobe in his office, prosecutors say.
Dr. Rakesh Punn, 52, of Bethpage was arrested yesterday on child-pornography and unlawful-surveillance charges, the Nassau County district attorney said. Punn is accused of taping at least five patients since 2007.
Defense attorney Nicholas Marino denied the allegations.
Punn would allegedly record the girls after covering their eyes or by hiding the camera on his desk. The DA’s office said cops found a forged passport and a large amount of cash at his home.
