Here’s a remedy for a sick scam: prosecution.

Queens District Attorney Richard Brown is probing Ridgewood residents who panhandle for a “dying boy.”

“In light of the New York Post article alleging questionable fund-raising for a child with medical needs . . . I have deemed that an investigation is warranted,” Brown said.

Investigators will look into Children of Babel, a charity run by Traian Stan, to see if “they are taking advantage of the generosity of hardworking citizens by coercing them to donate money to a fake charity,” Brown added.

Children of Babel begs for bucks to pay for a $100,000 bone-marrow transplant for an 11-year-old boy named Bora Daniel.

A Post investigation found that the same glossy Bora Daniel card had been handed out in Maryland in 2006.
