A man was busted Saturday morning for allegedly snatching his infant daughter from a Queens family shelter after a spat with her mother, cops said.

Jerome Pippins, 24, took off with 8-month-old August Pippins from the shelter at 90th Street and Van Wyck Expressway around 10:10 p.m., prompting police to issue an Amber Alert, cops said.

The father had been arguing with the tot’s mother before taking the baby, police said.

Her mother, who has custody of her, called police.

Cops found dad and child at a Harlem home around 8:15 a.m. Saturday.

Pippins was taken into custody and charged with burglary, acting in a manner injurious to a child and custodial interference.

Little August was found in good physical condition, but was taken to Harlem Hospital for observation.

Pippins has five prior arrests, including busts for assault and marijuana possession.

Police do not have any record of domestic incidents between the couple, cops said.
