The Dalai Lama yesterday held the first of four days teaching Buddhist philosophy at Radio City Music Hall.

Before the speech on “emptiness,” he said he was elated to be in the city.

“Since my childhood, I had some idea of New York, so I love New York,” he said.

Seats at the sold-out event ranged from $17 to $60, although some Web sites resold them for $400.

The Dalai Lama said he and the organizers had no link to the scalped tickets.
