A disheveled-looking R&B singer D’Angelo got a break today on year-old charges that he offered $40 to an undercover policewoman who was posing as a hooker in the West Village.

The down-on-his-luck Grammy winner — who hasn’t cut an album in ten years — pleaded guilty in Manhattan Criminal Court today to disorderly conduct, a violation that gets rid of the sex-solicitation charge and doesn’t carry a criminal record or any penalties outside of routine court fees.

D’Angelo had allegedly rolled down the window to his top-of-the-line Range Rover at Greenwich and Horatio streets at two in the morning last March, and shouted to the undercover cop, “I’ll give you forty dollars for a blow job.”

“He’s satisfied with the outcome, and working on a new album,” said his lawyer, Stacey Richman.

The once-buff, now chubby singer, who has DUI, marijuana and cocaine convictions in his past, skulked out of court without comment.
