Former Gov. David Paterson’s ex-top aide, David Johnson (pictured), dodged jail time yesterday and pleaded guilty to a minor charge of harassment after admitting he shoved his girlfriend in a heated argument.

Bronx Criminal Court Judge Miriam Best asked the former $132,000-a-year aide to admit what happened on Halloween night 2009 during a fight with Sherr-Una Booker, 38.

“I got into an argument. It got loud. We were both upset and I shoved her with the intent to harass or alarm,” said Johnson, 38. “I realize my conduct was inappropriate and I deeply regret my actions.”

The strapping, 6-foot-7 hulk could have faced a year in jail on more serious misdemeanor-assault charges instead of a single violation.

Best told Johnson that “as long as you lead a law-abiding life and stay away from the complaining witness and not have any communication with her for two years,” his record would be expunged.
