A Brooklyn day care worker was arrested for leaving two tots behind at a Long Island mall Wednesday — nearly 40 miles away from the center, cops said.

The children, Abigail, 3, and Tyler, 2, were with Nicole Noble, 34, at the Westfield South Shore Mall in Bay Shore around 2 p.m., but she wound up leaving without the youngsters, officials said.

It wasn’t immediately clear if Noble, who works for the Elite Christian Day Care Center in Gowanus, had permission to take the children to the mall, cops said.

The tots were found playing alone in the mall near JC Penney and Panera Bread, police said.

Nassau police put out a release Wednesday with a picture of the children to locate the parents, after which they found out the kids had been in the care of Noble.

Noble was slapped with two counts of child endangerment, cops said.
