Mayor Bill de Blasio reiterated Thursday that there was no active terror threat against New York City and urged residents to go about their usual activities.

“It’s essential that things continue as normal,” the mayor said on PIX 11. “There is no ongoing threat. There is no credible and specific threat directed at New York City right now.”

“A lot of other cities would understandably be thrown by something like this, but this city — we have so much strength,” he added.

De Blasio also said there was no evidence of anyone else being involved with terror suspect Sayfullo Saipov, who allegedly mowed down eight people with a Home Depot rental truck Tuesday.

“This seems to be a classic lone-wolf situation [out of the ISIS playbook]…,” de Blasio said. “That’s horrible and that’s deeply disturbing that anyone would make that decision to follow that playbook. But no, thank God, we do not see any other involvement at this point.”
