Bill de Blasio and Gov. Chris Christie had dinner on Dec. 28, the then-mayor-elect saying he wanted to “play nice” with Christie, sources said.
But the time for playing nice seems to have been short-lived. Last week, de Blasio described as “unacceptable” Christie’s ongoing Bridgegate scandal.
“It’s not professional, it’s not mature, it’s absolutely immoral,” de Blasio said. “I think it obviously raises bigger questions about how something like that ever happened to begin with.”
