Move over, Mayor Quimby!
Mayor de Blasio will make a guest appearance on “The Simpsons” this Sunday, a City Hall spokesperson said Friday.
De Blasio will play himself in the episode “Mad About the Toy,” which will air on Fox at 8 p.m.
An image from the episode shows Hizzoner wearing a sash with the word “mayor” on it while hoisting Grandpa Simpson on his shoulders.
De Blasio is an avid Simpsons fan, having previously appeared in a mockumentary about the show in 2017.
“[The show] is an amazing American institution,” de Blasio said at the time.
