Mayor de Blasio has a new favorite word — “transformative.”

The mayor is so smitten with the word he used it twice Monday to describe efforts to enroll toddlers in universal pre-K programs.

De Blasio recently praised the “transformative” work of a former probation commissioner and the “transformative possibilities” of Hurricane Sandy aid.
