The dead bodies of two women were discovered inside a torched car at a Long Island mall, Nassau County police said Monday.

Police initially found one charred body after firefighters responded to a report of a car fire in the Sears public parking garage at Green Acres Mall in Valley Stream around 11 p.m. Sunday.

A second body was later discovered, police said. The women’s identities were not immediately known.

Cops were initially investigating the incident as a homicide, but said Monday afternoon that there there does not appear to be any criminality involved. The investigation is ongoing.
