A 60-year-old man was found dead inside an abandoned, stripped ambulance in a Brooklyn mystery over the weekend, cops and sources said.

The man was discovered unconscious and unresponsive around 7:45 a.m. Saturday inside the smashed-up Midwood ambulance — with its wheels and doors removed — on Snediker Avenue near Pitkin Avenue in Brownsville, according to police and photos from the scene.

He had visible neck trauma, leading investigators to believe his death was suspicious, cops and sources said. 

His official cause of death will be determined by the city’s Office of the Chief Medical Examiner, police said.

The man’s name had not been released by Monday morning, pending family notification
