A rotting corpse was discovered inside a Bronx apartment Wednesday, after a foul stench had started to linger in the building.

A man was found with a fatal stab wound to his chest at 1006 Longview Ave., when construction workers noticed a horrible smell while performing renovations, according to the building’s landlord.

Police responded to a 911 call around 1:20 p.m. and found the unidentified adult male.
