A homeless man was found dead in at an East Village subway station, authorities said.

The unidentified man was lying in the tracks of the L-train at the 14th Street and 1st Avenue station, cops said.

It was not clear whether or not the man had been struck by a train, said a spokesman for the MTA.

The cause of death is pending an autopsy by the city’s medical examiner, cops said.
