A woman who was found naked and dead after she was dumped from a shopping cart into a Bronx trash can may have overdosed, police said Thursday.

The 38-year-old’s body was found around 8 a.m. on Tuesday when a superintendent from the Park Avenue building took out the trash.

Police who arrived on the scene found surveillance video that showed a man pushing the woman in a shopping cart — though it was unclear whether she was alive at the time.

“We do have video of a woman being dumped out of a shopping cart into the garbage can,” police said.

They also found video that showed the man carting the body out of an adjacent building that is the site of “a lot of overdoses,”  leading them to believe drugs might have caused the woman’s demise, cops said.

The Medical Examiner’s Office took the entire trash can with the body in it and is attempting to determine the cause of death, according to cops.
