Celebrity chef Bjorn van der Horst has been tossed in jail for up to six months, and he’ll stay there unless he pays $53,000 in overdue child support, a judge ruled.

Van der Horst “has the keys to the courthouse in his hand,” according to Bruce Young, lawyer for the chef’s ex-wife, Yael Bizouati, and their son.

Van der Horst was jailed last month for stiffing his 16-year-old son out of $93,000 in support.
