A 52-year-old woman died on Saturday in a smoky fire in a Bronx high rise.

The blaze broke out about 9:30 a.m. in an 11th-floor apartment in the building on Southern Boulevard in West Farms.

The woman was found inside a heavily-smoked bedroom.

She was rushed to St. Barnabas Hospital, where she was declared dead.

The fire was snuffed out by about 10:15 a.m. Fire marshals are investigating the cause.
