Deal for nurses
Nurses at St. Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital Center have reached a tentative deal on a four-year contract that would avert a threatened strike.
Continuum Health Partners Communities and the New York State Nurses Association announced the agreement yesterday a week before the 1,300 nurses at the two Manhattan hospitals had planned to strike.
The nurses union is scheduled to vote on the deal Jan. 4.
