The Department of Motor Vehicles suspended the driver’s license yesterday of the man behind the wheel of last Saturday’s horrific Chinatown bus crash that left 15 dead and six in intensive care.

Ophadell Williams, 40, the driver of the World Wide Tours coach that collided with a signpost on I-95 while returning from the Mohegan Sun casino, allegedly lied about his use of aliases when he applied for a commercial license, according to DMV official Howard Glasser.

Gov. Cuomo ordered an investigation into Williams after it was revealed he had convictions for manslaughter and grand larceny and a spotty driving record.

While officials are investigating his allegedly false statements, state troopers and the National Transportation Safety Board are probing his actions before the early-morning crash.
