A Brooklyn hospital where a neglected patient died in a waiting room will undergo improvements mandated by a consent decree aimed at settling litigation over conditions there.
The settlement announced yesterday calls for conditions at Kings County Hospital to be monitored by a federal judge for five years.
In June 2008, Esmin Green, 49, languished for nearly 24 hours before collapsing from a blood clot, ignored by staffers as she lay dying on the floor.
